Singapore Day 3 – Little India, River Safari, Bugis

Today we headed to the River Safari first up. We caught the MRT then a bus to the ZOO. It is very easy to navigate the public transport here and it is very cheap. The River Safari is a new attraction at the Singapore Zoo. There was not very many people here as it was midweek. They have Giant Pandas, Fresh water fish and huge aquariums. Half way though there is a boat ride that takes you through some more exhibits. Once we were done at the zoo we caught the bus back to the MRT.

We then went to the Singapore Scout store. There was not much there so we just purchased a few badges. We then caught the MRT to Little India where we browsed through some markets then went to the Mustafa Store. This store is amazing It has everything and takes quite a while to navigate.

We then caught a Bus over to the Bugis area. We looked around Bugis St markets and purchased a juice from the $1 juice shop. There are a heap of cloths shops here and it was quite busy. After we looked around the markets we went to Liang Seah St. There are a heap of nice restaurants here that mainly serve hot pots. After dinner we met up with a friend at Ah Chew Desserts.

When we were finished Dessert we headed over to Haji Lane. There are plenty of trendy bars etc around this area. We stopped off at one of them and had a few drinks. By this stage it was getting quite late so we headed back to our hotel on the MRT.
