We visited Langkawi last year and had the most amazing experience at The Danna. We really wanted to return so we emailed them directly and they gave us a really good price. It is great to see resorts that reward loyalty. This time The Danna did not disappoint and I think that they have really improved on what was a great resort. The staff can not be more helpful and they do remember you from your previous stay. An example of the staff going out of their way was when my wife was getting a massage she mentioned that we could not find any baby food on the island. The staff member took it upon herself to have a look at the shops on her way home and purchased some for us and told us where we could pick it up.
If you are staying for some time in Langkawi the only way to get around easily is to hire a car. The island is really quiet and the roads are very well maintained. We picked a car up on the first morning that we were there. We visited the following attractions over a few days. Langkawi Cable Car and Sky Bridge, Langkawi Bird Park, Langkawi Underwater World, Langkawi Crocodile Farm and the Langkawi Mangrove Tour.
